Tailored safaris

Not everyone has a dedicated photography interest, needs to be accompanied by a photographic guide or want to be privately hosted. In fact some people just want to travel, see fantastic places, experience phenomenal wildlife and vibrant cultures. So that is what tailored journeys are all about.

They are about working together, crafting your own journey and fulfilling that bucket-list. Combining knowledge and experience of someone who knows the areas, destinations and wildlife.

Even if you’re not being accompanied on a journey by myself, I still want you to have the best experience possible. I still use the exact same local guides and locations as if the journey was being led and undertaken by myself so you get to the right places to maximise your experience.

I help you get where you want and this is a focused service whereby you call the shots - if you have somewhere in mind and something you would like to experience, we'll get you there. And if I don’t have the local experience of a region you want to go to, using my extensive network of trusted and professional contacts, I’ll put you in touch with the right people to ensure you are provided with a personal, tailored experience.

Whether you have something specific in mind or not it doesn’t matter - feel free to get in touch by clicking the button below or send me an email and we’ll arrange a time convenient with you to have an informal chat. After all, I still want you to experience the wonderful natural world for yourself.

Journey inspiration

Below is just a small sample of some of my favourite safari destinations to give you some inspiration. Your tailored safari might focus on one destination or even one species be it elephants, lions, rhino, gorillas or wild dogs (painted wolves) - or you may want to experience multiple regions and the varied wildlife of Africa.

What ever is on your bucket list, let’s make it happen.

UGANDA

Affectionately known as the ‘Pearl of Africa’ - Uganda is a country filled with friendly faces, warm cultures, breathtaking landscapes and of course magnificent wildlife.

From the wondrous Murchison Falls National Park, home to one of the most beautiful waterfalls in all of East Africa and a multitude of wonderful wildlife, to the chimpanzee filled forests of Kibale National Park, the tree climbing lions of Ishasha, climbing the volcano of Mt. Gahinga of and of course, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to the headlining noble mountain gorillas. And with well over 1000 bird species, it's a paradise for keen birders.

Uganda is indeed an underestimated safari destination, perfect for those looking for something a little off the beaten track and filled with authentic experiences. Get in touch to find out more...
